Tip: Debugging Dojo in Spring Roo

Recently I’ve came to some problem with Dojo in Spring Roo. It took a while to understand what I need to do to enable uncompressed verion of Dojo for debugging. Just got to load-scripts.tagx an replace

<spring:url value="/resources/dojo/dojo.js" var="dojo_url">

with

 <spring:url value="/resources/dojo/dojo.js.uncompressed.js" var="dojo_url">

And now you’ll see a debuggable exception like: “TypeError: dateObject.getMonth is not a function. var m = dateObject.getMonth();” instead of the weird one like “TypeError: _59f.getMonth is not a function. …his._conn);this._conn=null;}if(this.iframe){dijit._frames.push(this.iframe);dele…
